IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference 2025
CELISCA contributed on I2MTC 2025, the international flagship conference of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society with a tutorial ("Measurement Validation in Automated Compound Oriented Measurements") and a scientific talk ("Multi-element and Multi-organ Heavy Metal Measurements Using ICP-MS - A Contribution to Reference Value Generation in Human Tissues") .

New York Institute of Technology and celisca Starting Cooperation
In early January, CELISCA had the honor of welcoming Prof. Babak Beheshti, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). The purpose of his visit was to initiate a collaboration between the two institutions to enhance international exchange in research and education. CELISCA looks forward to taking the next steps and is confident that this partnership will promote innovation and knowledge but also strengthen international collaboration.

Announcement for PROCESS MEASUREMENT lectures for Winter Semester 2024
Process Measurement is an application oriented part of process automation for large scale industrial processes as well as for small scale laboratory processes. Students in M.S. courses in engineering and sciences are welcome to participate this very practical oriented course.

The 2024 IEEE 20th International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2024) will be held on August 28 - September 1 in Puglia, Italy. celisca was represented here with 3 talks presenting current research results to a large research community of about 1000 participants.

Kerstin Thurow and Heidi Fleischer at RPI: CELISCA professors collaborating with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)
The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is THE 1824 first established Technical University in North America - highly renowned and located in Troy / US east coast. RPI - named a "New Ivy" - engaging in cutting edge technologies in Science and Engineering. The CELISCA professors are proud to present their actual research results and ideas at this university to deepen the collaboration with the Department of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering and connected centers & departments at RPI

celisca at ROSE 2024
The IEEE International Symposium ROSE 2024 merges two important automation topics - ROBOTS and SENSORS. This special perspective focusses to a joint approach of sensors and actuators and is of fundamental interest for CELISCA in the field of Life Science Automation. CELISCA's researchers contributed to this event a Dual-Arm-Robotic approach combined with high performance massspectrometric sensing in a sample preparation process.

CELISCA at IEEE I2MTC 2024 in Glasgow
CELISCA contributed to the annual flagship conference in Instrumentation and Measurement IEEE I2MTC 2024 in Glasgow -Scotland with 2 emerging topics in the field of process related measurement and automation technologies.

Announcement for SENSOR TECHNOLOGY lectures for Summer Semester 2024
Sensors are important elements in process automation. As every year, engineering students can participate in the lectures about this subject displaying both basic principles and sensor systematics as well as applications and actual results of our ongoing research projects. In this year our Visiting Scholar Prof. Dr.-Ing. M.F.R. Al-Okby will contribute with a lesson about optical spectroscopy in this lecture.

CASE 2023 in Auckland NZL - Automation, Science & Engineering
CASE 2023 is defining the international scientific standard in the interdisciplinary field between automation, processes and measurement. Automation is building a bridge between Science and Engineering. Rostocks scientists contributing to this conference with an automated process measurement method for analyses of benzoic acids in different water samples - a problem that is relevant for both environmental and food analyses.
